Debbie and Nick rejuvenated a 5 bedroom Victorian terrace house in North London with contemporary colour and some clever design ideas. Being American has a definite impact on how Debbie, a Communications Consultant views the layout of a house, ‘I must confess I don’t do vertical living very well, ’ she remarks. So it was surprising when she and husband Nick chose a four - storey Victorian house when they moved from their spacious apartment in Belsize Park. ‘I was driven by the fact that Nick wanted to stay in the area, this house was a neighbourhood away but I had several friends that lived in the area and was impressed with the spacious proportions of the properties, ’ says Debbie.
