Caitlin and Graham have turned a run-down thatched cottage into a stylish and artistic home. Caitlin has antiquing in her blood. Her mother ran an antiques stall in Campden market when she was a child. Her father too had a passion for antiques, and used to drag a small Cait around the junkyards in search of vintage treasures. Over the years she has honed her trained eye to find a mixture of the beautiful and the bizarre – her unique skill is in combining the two, often from totally different periods or anything quirky and original. She keeps a very calm and neutral backdrop and then adds the most unusual and artistic retro finds, which she then combines with contemporary items. Her skill is in creating complete harmony between seemingly mismatched items.
